Troop Recharter

If you are not aware, our annual troop recharter will be completed this month. This process re-registers our troop with the council for the scout year 4/1/23-3/31/24. Our advancement coordinator will complete this process and submit payment to the council accordingly.

Our annual troop dues are $275 ($93 of this amount goes to the council for recharter). The balance ($182) is used for events and outings throughout our scout year.

You will see the first installment of $93 for dues obligations sometime in April. This will be simply to make us whole with the funds the troop has advanced for the recharter. The balance of $182 will be billed in the August-Sept timeframe.

For adult leaders and committee members, the cost for recharter will be $63 each. Accordingly, you will be billed in April as well.
