Memorial Day Flag Event

On Saturday, May 28th, our troop will be participating in the Mecklenburg County Council’s flag distribution day. Flags will be placed at every Veteran’s gravesite, and the event will run from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Flags are provided by the council.

We will be placing the flags at the Sharon Memorial Cemetery, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte 28212

Parent drivers may be needed based upon the RSVP count from the scouts. Parents are also invited and encouraged to participate as well in this event.

If you wish to participate, please email spl@troop502.com and copy sm@troop502.com as well as we need to register with the council. RSVP date for this event is by Monday, May 9th.

Community Service hours will be given to all scouts that participate.
