Troop Updates and Upcoming Events

Sept. 23rd –  Regular Troop meeting at 7.p.m

NOTE FOR SCOUT LEADERSHIP – All recently elected SPL, ASPL, patrol leader, and assistant patrol leader positions are asked to arrive for a brief 6:30 meeting prior to troop meting at 7 p.m.

Sept 28th – Community Service project, Rise Against Hunger, at HUMC. Meet at Hammill Hall, hours of service are 9 – 11 a.m. Wear your Class B shirt.  All are asked to wear a baseball cap or head cover for sanitary reasons while working with food, if you do not bring a cap a hairnet will be provided for you. Sept 30th –  Court of Honor, 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.  Scout families are asked to be in attendance as we recognize rank advancements and award merit badges as well. We also hope to have a visual presentation of summer camp and Bahamas High Adventure trip highlights.

Oct 4 -6 – Kings Mountain Camping Trip.  Details have been supplied in previous email however if you are interested please email Mr. Reeves at jreeves@smeinc.com, or let him know at Monday nights meeting.  The final cut off for replying is Sept 27th as we need to make campsite reservations.
