Summer Camp Reminders

We will meet at the church next Sunday, July 21st at 8:30 a.m. for camp departure.  Please bring cash for lunch on the way. Please also recall that the camp has a trading post for snacks and souvenirs, cash for that is optional and at parents discretion.

Full Class A uniforms are not only required for travel but are mandatory to be worn at dinner each evening.

If you scout routinely takes medication, including OTC such as Tylenol, allergy, etc., please bring them in a ziploc bag labeled with scout’s name and dosage information.  These will be collected by a leader prior to leaving the church.

While we prefer that all scouts leave their phones at home, with parental permission we will allow scouts to use their phones in the car on the way to camp, provided they have ear buds.  Once at camp ALL phones will be collected and locked up for the week by one of our leaders.  Phones will be returned as they exit the camp on the way home.  Please note that there are no hand held games or other types of technology allowed at any time at camp. If there is a true emergency and your scout needs to contact you, a leader will accompany him to the main office.

Make sure you bring your merit badge workbooks with your pre-requisities (if any)!

Our troop code of conduct will be enforced for the week.  Please relay to your scout the importance of adhering to instructions of both our adult leaders and scout leadership that will be with them for the week.  Our first priority is the health and safety of all scouts, in addition to having a great experience.
