We need help at the following Services: 8:00 AM – [...] Everyone: Community House Middle School is putting on a production on March 9th and 10th and they need some costume help. A few years back, Mrs. Miller made some prison costumes. If you still have yours and would be willing to loan them to Community House Middle School Drama Department, please reach out to [...] 1. A reminder that due to the President’s Day holiday, there will be no troop meeting this Monday, the 20th 2. Camp Cards – Only 2 scouts expressed interest in selling camp cards this year. Based upon the lack of interest in this fundraiser, we will not be participating. 3. Our annual BSA Troop 502 [...] The March campout registration closes on Monday, February 20th. Please go online under events and sign up if you plan on attending this trip, adults included. As of today, we have very few that have committed to go on this trip. Remember a lot of the outdoor advancements can be completed on these camping [...] 1. Sign ups for the March 2-4 campout at the High/Low ropes challenge course are now underway. The only cost to the scout is $10 for patrol food. Food $$ is due no later than February 27th. Scouts are to sign up online on the troop web site, please see link under “events” tab. Last day to [...] Just a reminder that there is no troop meeting this coming Monday, the 6th. Troop meetings will resume February 13th at 7 p.m. as usual.
Thank you to the scouts, leaders and parents who came out on this rainy morning to help with “Scouting for Food”. Our troop donation to Loaves and Fishes food bank was 1,200 lbs of food! We were also able to donate some food items to Harrison Methodists’ church run food bank as well! The individual [...] Just a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday the 4th, Troop 502 will be participating in the annual “Scouting for Food” to benefit Loaves and Fishes food bank. Scouts will meet at Hammill Hall at 9 a.m. – from there we will disburse to local neighborhoods to retrieve bags of food. Empty bags were distributed last Saturday [...] |
