It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that earlier today Max James (Troop 502’s first Chartered Organizational Representative and Chris Hatcher’s grandfather) passed away in Texas where he was visiting his son. Max had been involved in Scouting most of his life and was a recipient of Scouting’s Silver Beaver Award. From [...] Everyone - We wanted to send you an update on the Merit Badge College. We are having a very difficult time finding a venue that can accommodate us until AFTER March. We are deciding on which date to hold the MBC to best accomodate the largest # of boys who want to attend. We will send [...] Dalton Hatley is beginning to work on his Eagle Project starting this Saturday, February 20th, at Harrison UMC. Dalton needs all the help he can get to accomplish his goals and project in time. He also plans to work the following Saturday, February 27th as well, in case you cannot make it this weekend.
